Food Services Staff
RSU 26 is looking for a responsible and motivated individual to help plan, prepare, and serve students attractive and nutritious meals in a clean, efficient, and friendly atmosphere. Primary assignment will be the food service program at Asa Adams Elementary School.
This individual should be comfortable leading and instructing other food service staff. The position requires long periods of time standing and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Good communication, math and computer skills are a must. Experience with Excel, Word, and the Google platform is preferred. Problem solving and critical thinking skills are essential.
Food safety and cooking skills are required, and knowledge of school nutrition is preferred. A Serve Safe Manager certificate is highly recommended. A criminal history records check (CHRC) from the state of Maine is required for employment. This is a full time (25 -30hr) position Monday to Friday with benefits included. Pay dependent upon experience.

Orono is looking for energetic and motivated substitute teachers to work with students at all levels. The candidates should have completed 2 years of college and enjoy working with children and teens. Flexibility is a must. We have lots of opportunities for the right candidates. Must have up to date CHRC.
